PR Account Supervisor - Corporate & Financial Services

FINN Partners is on the hunt for an Account Supervisor to join our growing Corporate & Financial Services PR team. Ideally you will have three or more years' experience in PR, marketing, content or journalism.
We are looking for a PR and content pro that wants to work with a variety of companies, large and small, to craft compelling stories that inform audiences and influence behaviours - all to help our clients better meet their business objectives.
You'll be a part of our Corporate & Financial Services PR team working for a range of multi-national organisations, non-profit foundations, government agencies, corporate banks, fintechs and investment bodies.
This person will serve as a primary contact for a range of clients, delivering high-quality media results that meet and exceed client goals. The Account Supervisor will support on devising creative corporate strategies that utilise traditional and digital/social media and will develop client content, including media materials, online content, media pitches, bylines and Q&As, and participate in media outreach.
Primary Responsibilities- Manages day-to-day client PR account activities to ensure the delivery of high-quality programs that meet and exceed client goals.
- Designs traditional and digital/social media strategies to implement media relations campaigns, media tours, social media initiatives, blogs, bylines, news releases, and Q&As.
- Either a demonstrated ability or strong desire to network with prospective clients and develop new business leads.
- Delivers exceptional written, oral and interpersonal communication that is clear, concise and direct with clients, account teams and other stakeholders.
- Builds client reputations, thought leadership and share of voice through any and all media.
- Helps clients successfully navigate earned and social media interactions.
- Leads team members in the success of integrated, cross-office, cross-practice teams.
- Helps develop programmes, campaigns and new business proposals. Innovates new ideas, opportunities and strategies to enhance client success.
- Contributes to seamless and effortless client service, with account administration, client billing and activity reports, results reports, and success metrics.
- Takes responsibility for junior members of staff, advising, training and leading them to further their own career progression.
- Stays on top of industry knowledge, news, social media and networking.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and actualise media goals of the client.
- Highly skilled at multi-tasking and accommodating multiple clients and account teams.
- Intuitive understanding of the business of an agency, and ability to identify and troubleshoot problems within accounts and/or teams.
- Ability to handle operational activities of account.
- Ability to mentor staff members and develop them professionally.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Skilled at developing and delivering presentations.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
- Availability to travel as needed to off-site meetings.
- At least three years' experience, preferably within an agency or in-house.
- At least a 2.1 degree.
- 25 days' holiday plus 5 additional "summer days".
