We're looking for a Practitioner Psychologist. This is afantastic opportunity to support the developing clinical serviceand to work closely with the Lead Clinician to develop the clinicalprovision in line with neurodiversity and intersectionalityaffirming therapeutic support.

About therole

We are excited to be expandingour clinical service during a time of growth for the service. We currently have an opportunity for a Practitioner Psychologist tojoin our Clinical Team. The post holder will work collaborativelyto deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for ourpupils. This is an excellent opportunity to join the team as theyexpand their clinical provision, making a real difference andimplementing a holistic, therapeutic approach.

You will be responsible for holding a caseload alongsideother clinicians, with the full support of our well-established andknowledgeable Clinical Team, you will also contribute to stafftraining, consultation, and reflective practice. Both a challengingand rewarding role, this position would suit a resilient andenthusiastic individual, with a therapeutic approach and theability to make decisions, as well as manage their ownworkload.

EssentialCriteria:

  • Doctoral level degree in Psychology (Clinical,Counselling, Forensic, Educational)

  • Registered with the HCPC and own professionalbody.

  • Experience of workingwith people who have an intellectual disability and/or autism withadditional needs (e.g. complex trauma, mental health needs,behaviours of concern).

  • Ability to work collaboratively with a range ofkey partners.

  • Able to worksensitively with people and resolve conflicteffectively.

  • Evidence ofcontinuing professional development relevant to thesetting.

  • Substantial andrelevant post-qualification experience withadults.

  • Experience oflecturing/teaching/training.

  • Full UK Driving Licence and access to ownvehicle required

  • Skills inthe management of data are also important as the role includescollecting and analysing data to inform various pieces of servicedelivery, development and project work.
