Job Description:
As part of our strategic expansion in the UK market, DXC Technology is seeking a highly skilled and client-focused Pre-sales and Solutioning Senior Consultant to drive the growth of our Healthcare Data & AI practice. You will play a pivotal role in developing data-driven healthcare solutions. Working closely with sales teams, technical experts, and clients, you will drive solution development, client engagement, and market positioning for DXC's healthcare data offerings. This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of technology and healthcare, helping to shape data strategies that enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
This is a remote role within the UK, with occasional travel to client sites or company events when required.
Due to the nature of our client accounts, SC security clearance is required and for us to obtain this for you, you must be a sole British National that has lived and worked in the UK consecutively for the past 5 years. Unfortunately, we are unable to consider dual nationals currently.
What you will be doing:
Client Engagement and Consultation- Collaborate with sales teams during the pre-sales phase to understand client requirements in healthcare data solutions.
- Present customized demos and value propositions that align with client needs, demonstrating how proposed solutions meet regulatory and business requirements.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights on best practices, industry trends, and regulatory changes in UK healthcare.
- Develop and architect scalable data solutions tailored to the UK healthcare sector, ensuring alignment with client objectives and industry standards.
- Create detailed proposals, RFP responses, and statements of work (SOWs) that clearly define solution scopes, timelines, and pricing models.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including data engineers, product managers, and compliance experts, to design effective and compliant solutions.
- Stay updated on trends and regulatory developments in the UK healthcare industry to effectively advise clients and shape solutions.
- Develop industry-specific go-to-market strategies and collateral that highlight the company's unique value in the UK healthcare sector.
- Conduct competitor analysis and provide strategic insights for positioning the company's offerings in the market.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including IT, data, and healthcare executives, to ensure solutions are aligned with client expectations.
- Work closely with customer success and account management teams to ensure smooth hand-offs and ongoing client satisfaction.
- Provide regular feedback to the product team on client requirements and industry demands, influencing the development of healthcare-focused features.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Proven experience in pre-sales, solutioning, or a related role within the healthcare technology sector.
- Proven experience designing and implementing data solutions for healthcare clients in the UK.
- Comprehensive understanding of UK healthcare regulations (e.g., NHS requirements, GDPR) and healthcare data standards (e.g., FHIR, HL7).
Must Have Skills & Competencies:
Technical Expertise- Proficiency in data integration, data analytics, and cloud-based healthcare solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with data management tools, business intelligence platforms, and healthcare data standards.
- Ability to create solution architectures that address data governance, security, scalability, and compliance.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to create compelling demos, presentations, and technical proposals that align with client needs and highlight solution benefits.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly assess client needs and offer practical solutions.
- Strong understanding of UK healthcare market trends and regulatory requirements that impact data solutions.
- Knowledge of competitive landscape and emerging technologies in healthcare data and analytics.
- Skilled at building client trust and rapport, with the ability to manage and influence client relationships effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions within agreed timelines.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Experience with healthcare data analytics and AI/machine learning applications in healthcare.
- Familiarity with healthcare systems like NHS Digital, EHR systems, or experience implementing solutions in hospital environments.
- Certification in healthcare compliance or data security (e.g., CHDA - Certified Health Data Analyst, GDPR certification).
