Position Purpose:

This role offers a unique opportunity to support the continuing development of the multi-product precious metals business and will offer the opportunity to learn about and assist with the daily Precious Metals Trading & Operations teams within StoneX.

Responsibilities

Primary duties will include:

1. Processing trade settlements - Precious Metals - Physical / Unallocated
2. Physical inventory management
3. Daily reconciliations of external physical depositories
4. Reconciliation of exchange traded futures statements from brokers
5. Daily interaction with internal and external stakeholders
6. Problem solving and resolution of position / P&L discrepancies
7. Margin Calls to Clients, intercompany & trading counterparts
8. Managing trade confirmations with market counterparts
9. Daily & monthly reconciliations of external nostros / physical depositories
10. Monitoring daily cash / metal flows and managing funding requirements
11. Intra-day trade / cash flow reconciliations
12. Internal system reconciliations
13. Confirming settlement figures with clients & trading counterparts
14. Follow and understand all internal procedures & comply with general FCA principles of business
15. Implementing a nightly rec across all Loco London transactions for next day
16. Coordination of client and internal orders across gold, silver and PGM benchmarks
17. Payment and allocation of Invoicing
18. Confirming physical swap trade figures with counterparts
19. Quote & Premium requests
20. Helping with the day-to-day workflow management of physical trading platform
21. Also helping with future development / testing
22. Liaising with the FO / BO Precious Metals team globally
23. Develop and maintain relationships with Clients, Suppliers, and Carriers

Qualifications

To land this role you will need:

1. Degree level or equivalent education (preferred)
2. Understanding of trade flows & treasury management
3. Interest in finance and a willingness to learn
4. Good work ethic and ability to work effectively to meet deadlines
5. Attention to detail and accuracy
6. Strong communication skills (written and oral)
7. Effective planning, organisation, and time management skills
8. Commercial awareness
9. Ability to work effectively in a team
