Principal / Associate Ecological Consultant - Oxfordshire or Northamptonshire (office-based with fieldwork) - £60,000 DOE

The Job:
Our client is looking for a Principal / Associate Ecological Consultant to join their expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take a leadership role in ecological consultancy, working on impactful projects across multiple sectors. The Company:

The company offers opportunities to lead on high-profile projects while working in a collaborative environment with diverse teams from Arboriculture, Forestry, and Landscape Design.

The Candidate:

1. Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science or a related field
2. Full membership of CIEEM (or working towards it)
3. You will hold at least one protected species licence (bats or dormice preferred) and possess a strong understanding of UK environmental legislation and the planning system
4. Expertise in managing complex projects, survey teams and site appraisals is essential
5. Proficient in GIS mapping and ecological technology advancements
6. Chartered CIEEM membership or nearing completion is desirable

The Package:

1. Salary up to £60,000 DOE
2. Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
3. 26 days annual leave (+ bank holidays)
