Interim Principal Property Lawyer

Pay Rate: Up to £40.70 per hour PAYE depending on experience TBC

1. Qualified solicitor, barrister, Chartered Lawyer or Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives holding a current practising certificate.
2. Chartered Institute of Legal Executives Professional Diploma in Law (Level 3) or equivalent legal qualification AND obtaining Graduate Member grade of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives or the law society's LPC (or be studying for the same).
3. A minimum of 2 years recent and relevant experience of dealing with a broad range of property related transactions and matters including those relating to regeneration projects.
4. Experience in dealing with complex, high value or sensitive property transactions or projects.
5. Thorough knowledge of the law relating to land and property.
6. Recent and relevant experience of assisting with the supervision and mentoring of more junior property lawyers.
7. Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages or equivalent (e.g. G Suite).

The successful applicant will be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with significant post-qualification experience in acquisitions and disposals, development agreements (residential, including affordable housing, commercial), long leases and transfers, school academy leases, all forms of estate management work, both residential and commercial and right to buy sales.
