QED Legal is working on an exciting opportunity for a Private Client Solicitor / Associate to join a well-established and top tier law firm in Hertfordshire.

The role is a Private Client Solicitor role which offers a good structure for progression and development in a large and successful team. The role will involve managing a caseload of a wide range of areas, including Wills and estate planning, Powers of Attorney, probate and estate administration, personal taxation, Trusts and Trust administration, with a supervisory element to the position.

The ideal candidate must:

1. Have +1 years post-qualifying experience in a relevant area of practice
2. Be experienced with handling a caseload including Probate and Administration of Estates, Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Trusts, Inheritance Tax, and Capital Gains Tax.
3. A private client specific accreditation or qualification such as STEP or SFE would be ideal, or working towards it.
