Procurement Buyer - FTSE100, Award Winning Procurement Function

Salary: £45-50,000 + bonus and package

Location: Hybrid options with offices Nationwide (London, Birmingham, Manchester, and more)

Join a world-leading, £multi-billion FTSE100 powerhouse that's renowned for excellence, innovation, and cutting-edge procurement strategies. As part of a £3 billion investment over the next three years, this company is on a transformative journey, continually raising the bar in the industry and earning numerous accolades along the way.

They are now seeking an IT Procurement Buyer to manage technology-related spend categories, including software, hardware, cloud services, and IT infrastructure. This role is perfect for someone passionate about driving digital transformation while enhancing supplier relationships and delivering value through strategic sourcing. You'll be joining a dynamic procurement team that is deeply integrated with the company's ambitious growth plans and digitalisation efforts.

You do not need to have an IT procurement background to excel in this role - the company is proudly category-agnostic and welcomes candidates with experience across generalist or other indirect procurement areas.

If you're looking to advance your career in IT procurement and want to work with a company that values strategic thinking, creativity, and long-term impact, this could be the ideal role for you.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Lead end-to-end procurement processes, including market analysis, supplier engagement, contract negotiations, and supplier performance management.
  2. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with the company's broader digital transformation agenda.
  3. Gain significant exposure to senior leadership, influencing decision-making and driving key initiatives.
  4. Lead contract negotiations and ensure supplier performance meets quality, cost, and service expectations.
  5. Contribute to a procurement function that is integral to the business's £multi-billion transformation.

This role offers exciting career growth opportunities within a fast-paced, forward-thinking organisation. With regular exposure to senior leadership and the chance to work on high-profile projects, this is your chance to make a lasting impact.
