My client, a tier 1 Blue chip company in the energy sector, is striving to meet the growing global demand for safe, sustainable, and affordable energy and as such, plan to become a leading player in offshore wind.

As Procurement Manager you will be involved in negotiating and selecting the T&I contractor for 80 pin pile jackets for a 3GW offshore wind project. Bids have been received, and the contract award is planned this year.

The contract includes the transportation of jackets from Fabrication Yards to the Sea port, marshalling services at the Port, transportation of jackets to the offshore location and installation of the jackets including drive drill drive pin pile installation and jacket installation.

Role Responsibilities

1. Lead contract negotiations for >£500m T&I contract
2. Conclude evaluation and selection
3. Work as integrated part of Jacket T&I Work Package Management team
4. Manage engineering and fabrication post contract award

Role Requirements

1. Experience of negotiation of large contracts (preferably transport and installation)
2. Developing commercial models for contracts that aren't lump sum e.g. elements of the scope will not be able to be fixed and different remuneration will be required such as schedules of rates, indexation, cost plus, lump sum etc
3. Contract and Claims management experience for Fabrication and Installation
