We are seeking an experienced Product Associate at Royal London Asset Management (RLAM) to join the Proposition Team and take a leading role in integrating the voice of the customer across RLAM's product lifecycle. Working within the Product Design function, this role will also contribute to launching new products and making changes to existing ones, based on customer feedback, commercial drivers and/or regulatory changes.
A new role at RLAM, the Product Associate will lead our research activities aimed at better understanding our customers, working closely with external research firms to gather and analyse insights into customer trends and feedback.
The Product Design function supports all design activity related to new and existing funds. This is a great opportunity to contribute significantly to the business by ensuring that product design reflects the needs of our customers.
About the role
- Taking a leading role in integrating the client voice across the product lifecycle
- Contributing to consumer support & understanding of RLAM's proposition, linked to Consumer Duty's four outcomes
- Contributing towards building a deeper understanding of our customer needs, and helping to ensure these are captured within future proposition developments and changes to existing products
- Supporting different workstreams and initiatives across all phases of the product lifecycle management processes, as required
- Supporting the Product Design function as necessary
About you
- Experienced and comfortable within customer research processes.
- A rudimentary understanding of key asset/fund types: equity, fixed income, property, cash, multi-asset.
- Confident communication skills to present recommendations to senior management and 3rd parties.
- University degree, IMC/IAQ or similar investment qualification preferred
- Self-starter who is comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Good analytical skills and confidence with numerical data.
- Ensure all clients are treated in a clear and consistent manner with adherence to TCF principles.
