The Data & Access Control Product Manager is responsible for implementing & delivering the product strategy for the systems used by the team, primarily SAP GRC Access & Process Controls. The post holder is responsible for assessing SAP product developments and how they meet the BBC requirements. You will be working with our outsourced BPO provider to ensure the systems are operating effectively and defining the changes and fixes to be built and delivered to stakeholders.

The role also includes upholding the data governance framework supporting the master data held in the SAP Finance systems for both Studios (S4) and Public Service (ECC) systems.

The role works with key BBC business, external and technical stakeholders to design, deliver & run the required product, measure its success, lead the prioritisation process and the creation and maintenance of the future roadmap.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Identifying and delivering system controls relating to access risks, privileged access, segregation of duties utilising the SAP GRC tools.
  2. Raise and/or assess change requests and deliver role related builds and changes in all SAP systems including ECC, S4, SAP HR, BW, BPC & GRC.
  3. Assessing data requests and new data requirements and approving data changes in all SAP systems, ensuring compliance with BBC and statutory policies.
  4. Provide system expertise, technical support and knowledge to business, service delivery and change/project teams ensuring dependencies and relationships between all associated systems are understood, maintained and communicated effectively to relevant stakeholders.
  5. Responsible for determining data archiving strategies and execution in response to business and statutory obligations.
  6. Continuous improvement of the product, identifying and prioritising enhancements and automation opportunities, communicating them to the business as required.
  7. Work with stakeholders, key technical staff and within governance groups to understand business needs and drivers, and confirm objectives and priorities.
  8. Develop relationships with pan-BBC and external stakeholders, delivery partners and suppliers as well as with colleagues and senior internal stakeholders.

  3. Proven experience of working collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams with a delivery focus in both project and operational environments.
  4. Highly-developed written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and persuade through credibility, integrity and professionalism.
  5. To manage a range of diverse tasks and deliver high quality work in a challenging and ever-changing environment, with a strong focus on results and deadlines.
  6. Ability to present in a professional and business-like manner to internal and external customers.
  7. An understanding of system internal controls, SAP-related segregation of duties and fraud and risk management requirements in a complex organisation.
  8. An understanding of Data Protection legislation and how it impacts access controls.
  9. Experience of working with SAP ECC & S4 systems and/or SAP GRC systems.
