We see a world where we all contribute to a thriving planet and together, we are a collective force for good. The Planet Mark is a sustainability certification which recognises outstanding achievements, encourages action, and builds an empowered community of like-minded individuals. We work with businesses to rigorously measure their carbon footprint and social value, engage their staff and supply chain to unlock their knowledge and drive passion for change, and communicate their progress to build a positive brand. We help businesses put a purpose at the heart of their organisation that brings social, environmental, and economic considerations together.
Planet Mark is owned by Alcumus and sits as a stand-alone division within the Alcumus group alongside the Safe Contractor Division and the ISOQAR division. Alcumus is a successful and globally expanding enterprise with a longstanding commitment to promoting safer and more sustainable workplaces.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing, launching and managing a new Supply Chain Engagement product proposition for Planet Mark. This role involves defining the product vision, strategy and roadmap while working closely with other Planet Mark departments to ensure that the product meets their needs and business goals.
You will have the opportunity to own and oversee a new, but critical part of Planet Mark's Net Zero Certification Programme, enabling our members to engage, measure and influence their supply chains to be part of their Net Zero progress, whilst also leveraging the opportunity to bring suppliers into the Planet Mark ecosystem. You will oversee the product lifecycle, from ideation to execution, ensuring the delivery of impactful solutions that drive supply chain measurement, engagement and communication, and alignment with business goals.
What that means day to day

- Supply Chain Engagement and management: Identify requirements and processes to support members to track, measure and manage their supply chains for the purpose of improving their own carbon footprint measurement and reductions.
- Product Roadmap & Prioritisation: Create and manage the product roadmap for supply chain engagement tools, balancing strategic goals, customer needs, and technical feasibility.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with measurement, technology, marketing, sales, and member support teams to develop and launch features that improve supply chain processes, visibility, and partner engagement.
- Customer & Market Insights: Gather feedback and insights from supply chain stakeholders (procurement, suppliers, logistics partners, internal teams) to identify pain points and areas for improvement in the supply chain engagement process. Be the voice of the customer inside Planet Mark for 'Procurement'.
- Product Development & Launch: Oversee the product development lifecycle, including ideation, prototyping, testing, and launch, ensuring products meet stakeholder expectations and are delivered on time and within budget.
- Performance & KPIs: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product effectiveness, supply chain impact, and user adoption. Use data insights to drive continuous product improvement.
- Change Management & Adoption: Lead change management efforts, ensuring smooth adoption of new supply chain tools and platforms across stakeholders. Provide training and resources as needed to ensure effective use.
- Market Trends & Innovation: Stay up to date with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in supply chain management and engagement to ensure the product remains competitive and innovative.
