The Aladdin Accounting Product team builds next-generation technology that changes the way global investment firms manage their accounting, reporting, and investment processes.

Sitting at the intersection of business and technology, Product Managers work closely with Aladdin developers and other stakeholders to innovate, conceptualize, design, and pilot new capabilities to simplify our clients' biggest problems. As an Aladdin Accounting Product Manager, you will be responsible for leading, managing, and executing on our product vision.

Role Responsibility

You will have complete ownership of ensuring that changes were fully completed, and any affected services restored.

You will identify process improvements for change implementation and weekend checkouts; aid in incident management and root cause analysis.

Provide ongoing operational support for the Aladdin infrastructure. Supporting and fixing both batch processing and interactive user applications to ensure the high availability of the Aladdin Environment.

Use various tools to conduct analysis on system performance, root cause diagnostics, and systems'/applications' design to understand and improve the operating quality of production environments.

Engage in clear and concise communications both verbally and in writing. Effectively interact on incident bridges and calls to ensure all distributed team members are constantly informed.

Engineer solutions to expedite recovery of environment post weekend maintenances.

Weekend Shift Work: You might be required to work on the weekend shifts on a rotational basis.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge Required

  1. 3+ years of work experience in product management, project management, or fund accounting.
  2. Experience with product and software development lifecycles, including interacting with product stakeholders, end users, and software developers.
  3. Experience using Accounting systems and/or successful track record in technology implementations of investment software.
  4. In-depth understanding of investment accounting and performance reporting cycles, operational processes, and workflows.
  5. Experience with Fund Accounting Oversight workflows is a plus.
  6. Ability to present complex conceptual ideas to senior stakeholders and execute against them.
  7. Ability to prioritize, schedule and manage tasks effectively, problem solve independently, and manage business risk exposure.
  8. The skill to organize the efforts of multiple teams, including ones you don't directly lead, towards a common product goal.
  9. Understanding of investment lifecycle and market performance is a plus.
  10. Experience engaging with clients and understanding their product needs is a plus.
  11. Big 4 accounting firm experience, specifically in technology, audit technology, or consulting is a plus.
  12. Strong working knowledge of agile frameworks.
