Job Description

The role

As a Regulatory Reporting Product Manager, you'll be at the frontier of industry innovation - launching new regulatory reporting services for the world's largest investment managers.

Regulatory Reporting is a new product line at FundApps so this will afford you the opportunity to build out a new business area from the ground up; set pricing, strategic direction on which reports will bring the most value to clients and define how we commercialise and scale regulatory reporting at FundApps.

You will work with the cross-functional Reporting Team and current Product Manager by owning the product roadmap and strategic direction for Regulatory Reporting.

How we measure success

Success in this role is ultimately measured by the commercial impact of our Regulatory Reporting product line-driving adoption, revenue growth, and market expansion.

In the interim, progress will be tracked through innovation accounting metrics, such as client engagement, iteration velocity, early adoption rates, and the development of scalable, high-value reporting solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Own and drive the strategy, development, and growth of FundApps' regulatory reporting product suite, ensuring it integrates seamlessly with our existing platform.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, product, and regulatory teams to develop new regulatory reports and define the key features that will make FundApps' reporting 10x better than existing solutions.
  • Partner with Regulatory, Partnership, and Revenue teams to identify new revenue opportunities, engage with prospects and clients, and support go-to-market activities.
  • Work closely with data and client teams to define implementation best practices and help clients source the necessary data.
  • Collaborate with revenue and finance to test and refine pricing strategies for different client segments.
  • Make strategic decisions, alongside the regulatory team, on which reports FundApps should invest in to meet both current and future client needs.
  • Champion the adoption of FundApps' regulatory reporting services within our client community and advocate for new industry developments.
  • Support internal training and knowledge sharing to up-skill teams and ensure strong cross-functional alignment.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure successful product delivery.

What you'll bring to the team:

  • 5+ years' experience in a product management role within a dynamic SaaS business or an investment management firm, working cross-functionally with revenue, marketing, client, and engineering teams to build and launch new reporting products from the ground up.
  • Deep understanding of regulatory reporting for Investment Managers-particularly on the buy-side-including key reports such as AIFMD Annex IV, Form PF, Form N-PX, and SFDR, as well as the data that supports them.
  • Knowledge of Investment Manager segments and the specific jobs to be done for regulatory reporting teams, including their pain points and what a service should deliver to truly add value.
  • Experience with pricing and bundling regulatory reports to different client segments.
  • A keen interest in industry trends, with the ability to assess new opportunities and incorporate them into how we work and what we offer.
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, agile environments, balancing big-picture thinking with strong attention to detail.
