LOCATION: Export House, Peterborough OR London Office with some ability to work from home

JOB BRIEF

The role will be working within the Marketing department. The Product Marketing Executive develops and executes go-to-market strategies, crafting compelling messaging and customer-focused materials to support product launches and sales enablement. By analysing market trends and customer insights, they ensure products are positioned effectively to drive engagement and business growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to support product launches and ongoing promotion, including the creation of compelling value propositions tailored to specific customer segments.
  • Create and maintain product messaging and positioning that resonates with target audiences, leveraging data-driven insights and managing detailed persona profiles.
  • Collaborate with product teams to deeply understand features and benefits, translating them into customer-centric materials such as product factsheets, presentations, and web content.
  • Conduct in-depth competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and positioning opportunities, providing actionable recommendations.
  • Develop and manage sales enablement tools, such as brochures, presentations, case studies, FAQs, and interactive content, ensuring alignment with marketing and sales goals and strategies.
  • Oversee and develop compelling, innovative product marketing collateral that reflects the brand's tone of voice and drives customer engagement.
  • Maintain, enhance, and optimise product pages on the website, ensuring they are SEO-friendly and updated with the latest product information and messaging.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in product marketing to drive innovation and competitive advantage.

DESIRED SKILLS SET AND EXPERIENCE:

  • In-depth experience of product marketing
  • Ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategies, including defining value propositions.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills to coordinate product launches effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for creating clear and compelling messaging, positioning, and persona profiles.
  • Storytelling skills to translate technical features into customer-centric benefits.
  • Analytical skills to conduct competitive analysis and identify market trends and opportunities.
  • Ability to interpret customer feedback and market data to inform decisions.
  • Experience working closely with product teams to understand features and benefits.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for working with cross-functional teams, including sales and product development.
  • Proficiency in creating marketing materials, such as factsheets, brochures, presentations, and case studies.
  • Knowledge of sales enablement best practices to support the sales team effectively.
  • Basic website management skills, including maintaining product pages.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles to optimise product content online.

  • Experience in membership organisations, consultancy practices, training companies, information services and/or technology providers.
