SafeHR and SafeWorkforce are HR and H&S software and consultancy products that have seen rapid growth in client volumes over the last 10 years, leading to us have over 4000 customers across both products. We have an ambition to grow this even more and offer even more value to our customers. This role will be pivotal in shaping the future of these products, working out where and how we can add more value and also looking at how we can launch into new sectors and territories.

We're looking for a dynamic and results-driven Product Owner to join our growing team. In this role, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver top-tier solutions that meet business objectives and delight our customers. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the product roadmap, prioritizing features, and ensuring we deliver exceptional value to our users.


What that means day to day
  • The Product owner role holds responsibility for the successful delivery and commercialisation of the HR and H&S Consultancy and software products in the UK.
  • Product ownership of products within the HR and H&S Consultancy portfolio.
  • Creation and management of the product roadmap for the element of the product / capability, collaborating with the wider product teams (typically 0-6 months out).
  • Capture requirements and document user stories, manage the product backlog, define the product roadmap and work with development team to define and prioritise the product backlog.
  • Market intelligence - work with individual product managers & Marketing to develop deep understanding of competitors, market trends and technology trends, supported by regular visits to clients and prospects as well as strong collaboration with business stakeholders.

What you'll need to be successful

The ideal candidate would have previous product experience and have worked within an agile environment. They will also have developed influencing and relationship management skills.
