Product Owner London or Nottingham

We are looking for a Product Owner to drive the evolution of ElectraLink's Data Transfer Service (DTS). This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background in digital product development and data solutions, with a deep understanding of Agile methodologies. You will be the key connection between internal teams, customers, and delivery partners, ensuring the DTS remains innovative and aligned with the changing needs of the energy market.

As a Product Owner, you will take charge of the product roadmap, prioritising enhancements and new developments while managing technical challenges. You'll work closely with stakeholders to refine features, optimise performance, and introduce new capabilities that strengthen our services. Responsibilities:

• Develop the product technology and customer roadmap and progressing the plan.
• Act as the key bridge between the Solution Architect, customers, and delivery partners.
• Be a technical advisor to the product analysts, customers, and the delivery partners.
• Consolidate work on technical issues and create a common technical backlog for the entire team.
• Engage the relevant internal and external development teams to deliver the product enhancements.
• Take ownership of the CRS innovation pipeline as related to new products.
• Work closely with Senior Management to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI.

The typical daily / weekly tasks include:

• Manage relationships with internal and external clients related to the product roadmap.
• Plan and prioritise product feature backlog and development for the product.
• Assess value, develop cases, and prioritise changes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value.
• Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories.
• Lead the planning product release plans and set expectation for delivery of new functionalities.
• Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals.

What you'll need:

• Previous working experience as a product owner, technical lead and/or significant experience in a technical management role.
• Deep understanding of digital product development and experience of data and networking products.
• Knowledge of Agile processes and principles.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
• Excellent organisational and management skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Creative thinker, coupled with a drive to deliver working product.
• Attention to detail and the ability to critically evaluate project and development plans.
