As a Senior Manager specializing in service delivery within the retail and consumer goods sectors, you will:- Lead and deliver complex and critical technology services, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer expectations.
- Manage a team of service delivery professionals, providing leadership, guidance, and support to achieve high performance and service excellence.
- Develop and implement service delivery strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technology, operations, and customer service, to ensure seamless service delivery and issue resolution.
- Monitor service performance metrics, analyze data, and generate reports to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for innovation.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Lead continuous improvement and innovation initiatives, driving process optimization, cost reduction, and service innovation.
- Adapt approaches to deliver effective outcomes in a range of different organisations and operating models.
- Proven experience in managing the delivery of complex technology services, with a strong track record of achieving service excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Versatility and the ability to succeed in varied organisation and operating models, including SRE, DevOps and ITIL-based organisations.
- Demonstrable experience of seeking innovative solutions and approaches and a willingness to drive organisational and technical change.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent; advanced degrees or certifications are advantageous.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, Agile, SRE).
- Strong understanding of emerging technologies in retail, including AI/ML, IoT, and Edge amongst others.
