We are looking for a Project Manager, Acoustics in London.

About the job

This role is crucial for ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality acoustic product contracts and requires a combination of technical proficiency, leadership skills, and client-focused professionalism.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Project Planning & Coordination:

  • Review contract specifications to ensure feasibility.
  • Schedule installation dates, balancing client needs and operational capacity.
  • Lead site visits and pre-start meetings to assess readiness and resolve issues.

Project Execution:

  • Maintain project records from start to finish.
  • Manage daily workloads of site teams for optimal efficiency.
  • Ensure site preparations meet health and safety compliance.
  • Develop and update site-specific Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).

Collaboration & Communications:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and addressing concerns.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Work with the Operations Director to align projects with business goals.

Quality Control & Completion:

  • Oversee snagging process and resolve issues before sign-off.
  • Conduct final site inspections to ensure client satisfaction.

Ad Hoc Duties:

  • Support additional tasks as needed to meet operational and business objectives.

Qualifications and competencies

Technical Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to interpret detailed drawings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and relevant project management software.
  • Thorough knowledge of Health & Safety regulations, with STSCS certification or equivalent.

Experience and Attributes:

  • Proven experience in managing skilled site labour and delivering projects from planning to completion.
  • Deep understanding of site Health & Safety protocols and industry compliance standards.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for effective client and team collaboration.
  • Strong organisational, problem-solving, and time-management abilities, capable of handling multiple priorities.

Decision-Making Authority:

  • Prioritise workload independently to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
  • Assign and oversee site operatives to maximise efficiency and maintain quality.
  • Approve project sign-offs after ensuring all requirements, specifications, and standards are met.
  • Identify and implement improvements to project management processes and operational efficiencies.
