Job Description

Grade UE07: £40,497 to £48,149 per annum

CMVM / RDSVS / The Roslin Institute

Full time: 35 hours per week

Fixed term: funded until 30th October 2029

The Opportunity:

As the Project Scientific Officer, you will be a critical part of an exciting new 5-year partnership between The Roslin Institute (University of Edinburgh) and Mowi Scotland. This project will address challenges associated with farming salmon. You will provide project management expertise, organizational and administrative support, and help maintain effective communication across the project team and with external stakeholders. You will ensure success criteria are clearly defined and understood to deliver within agreed budgets, milestones, and standards.

This post is full-time (35 hours per week) and should be based primarily on campus at the Roslin Institute; however, we are open to considering flexible working patterns and requests for hybrid working that combine remote and regular on-campus working.
