Location: City of London Hybrid Working Up to £60k + Package

About the Role

As a Proposals/Bid Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the entire bid process from inception to submission. Working as part of a small, dynamic team, you'll ensure high-quality proposals are delivered on time, aligned with client expectations and internal standards.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Manage the full bid lifecycle, from PQQs to tender return submissions
  2. Compile comprehensive launch packs
  3. Schedule and chair bid launch and regular progress meetings
  4. Interpret client deliverables and scoring matrices to guide bid strategies
  5. Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to gather and refine content
  6. Set internal deadlines, monitor progress, and hold bid team members accountable
  7. Proofread, edit, and enhance content to ensure clarity, consistency, and quality
  8. Create compelling mid and post-tender presentations
  9. Contribute to and help maintain a library of submission information for future bids
Requirements
  1. Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role within a main contracting environment
  2. Strong proficiency in InDesign and Microsoft Office Suite
  3. Knowledge of SharePoint is advantageous
  4. Experience with Photoshop and Illustrator is beneficial but not essential
  5. Proven track record in managing PQQs and tender return submissions
  6. Strong organisational skills with a methodical approach to managing multiple bids
  7. Ability to manage stakeholders effectively and communicate at all levels
  8. Detail-oriented with excellent proofreading and content editing skills
