The ROLE

Due to continued expansion of their European Headquarters an opportunity has arisen for a talented Applications Engineer /Technical Engineer to join their team specialising in rentals of vapour combustion units, incinerators and flares. Focusing on technical support through applications solutions, proposals creation, technical support (both office and customer facing) and through supporting the whole process. You will be responsible for:

1. Gain an understanding of customer's technical requirements
2. Building good sound customer relationships
3. Assist with preparing technical and commercial proposals for customers
4. Proposal/"loose fit" design
5. Following up on proposals and attending clarification meetings
6. Presenting both internally and to customer's at their location
7. Internal project support
8. Visiting established and potential customer plant. This will involve foreign travel

The successful Applications/Technical Sales Engineer candidate will be:

1. Well qualified Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical)

3. Possess excellent communication skills
4. Customer facing/commercial experience is essential
5. Experience of working in a manufacturing environment
6. Happy with international travel

Salary: Depending on Experience + Excellent Package
