Overview

Opportunity for a QA/QC to join our team in Wales.

QA/QC Engineer - MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) and CSA is responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of MEP & CSA works in construction projects. Their role is critical for maintaining standards, safety, and efficiency in building services installations.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality assurance plans and procedures for MEP works.
  • Review project specifications, drawings, and standards to ensure compliance.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits for quality control.
  • Ensure proper documentation and traceability of materials and processes.
  • Monitor installation processes to ensure adherence to approved standards and specifications.
  • Perform tests and inspections on MEP systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
  • Identify non-conformances and suggest corrective actions.
  • Verify the quality of materials delivered to the site.
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Maintain records of inspections, tests, and quality reports.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to site teams on QA/QC protocols.
  • Ensure adherence to local and international codes (e.g., ISO, ASHRAE, NEC).
Experience
  • Strong knowledge of MEP systems and construction practices.
  • Familiarity with standards and codes (e.g., ASME, ASTM, NFPA).
  • Proficiency in QA/QC tools and software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Office, Primavera).
Qualifications
