Job Description

If so, join Moorlands Neurological Centre as a Quality and Compliance Lead, working continuously improving the Compliance of Moorlands Neurological Centre in line with CQC Regulations, NHSE Expectations and other external regulatory bodies.

What you will be doing

As a Quality and Compliance Lead, you will ensure that the hospital provides a high standard of record keeping, and a confidential and efficient service, in relation to audits, quality and compliance. Working 37.5 hours a week, you will be providing administrative support across a range of areas including developing systems, delivering and arranging training and embedding changes to ensure the sites meet all regulatory, clinical, quality, and corporate requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring that all the business and performance information is sourced, formatted, and sent as required.
  • Responsible for gathering all the information in a timely manner for contracts such as NHS Contract, Elysium Healthcare Board Information, and Action plans.
  • Supporting the Clinical Lead to ensure that action plans are produced and kept up to date.
  • Collating action plans for presentation at local governance meetings or RMCG meetings.
Information Governance
  • Acting as 'Information Governance Lead' ensuring guidance on Information is shared with the staff team.
  • Available for advice on Information Governance and ensuring risks of data breaches are minimised.
  • Carrying out Clinical and Local audits as requested by Heads of Department.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience of administration/office systems.
  • Experience of compliance administration in a mental health setting.
  • Educated to A Level or equivalent with a Word Processing qualification.
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office).
  • Knowledge of the Mental Health Act 1983 and associated legislation.
  • Knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act and associated legislation.
  • Knowledge of Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards.
  • Knowledge of database applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.

Moorlands Neurological Centre is developing as a neurobehavioural hospital service for men and women over the age of 18, who have an acquired brain injury. The service supports individuals with challenging and complex needs requiring a neurobehavioural rehabilitation programme.
