Overview

ALTOUR is a leading global corporate travel company, providing exceptional service and innovative travel solutions to corporate clients worldwide. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to join our team and drive business growth within the EMEA region.

As the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities with mid-size to large corporate accounts headquartered in the EMEA region. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to build and maintain a strong sales pipeline while ensuring client satisfaction and long-term business relationships.

This role may be eligible for a commission.

Responsibilities
  1. Drive profitable new business into ALTOUR within the region and globally
  2. Identify net new opportunities
  3. Engage with ALTOUR teams from other countries in region to collaborate and share leads
  4. Build strong pipeline portfolio within agreed target markets and verticals
  5. Maintain relationships with prospective clients and various stakeholders
  6. Consistently follow up with prospective clients and schedule regular meetings (onsite and online)
  7. Build and maintain relationships with our supplier partners
  8. Conduct presentations and demonstrations (engaging right stakeholder team to support)
  9. Maintain CRM (Salesforce) data
  10. Complete Request for Proposals (RFPs)
  11. Identify potential clients by determining if the corporation has a need and the decision maker
  12. Hybrid role - flexible with working from home and office based - demanded from client and business need (typically 2-3 days a week in the office)
  13. Embrace and utilize ALTOUR Sales Academy methodology
Qualifications
  1. Demonstrate strategic thinking
  2. Understanding of practices in the key driver markets within the EMEA region
  3. Proficient in Office including Word / Excel / PowerPoint and Outlook
  4. Ideally 5+ years of travel industry experience
  5. Persistence and ability to regularly follow up
  6. Must be organized with attention to detail
  7. Ability to follow up with prospective clients
  8. Excellent personable skills
  9. Strong communication skills
  10. Prior direct sales experience
  11. Regular and dependable punctuality and attendance are required

Physical Requirements:

  1. Occasional travel within region may be required.
  2. Must be able to comprehend instructions, interpret documents, and apply abstract principles to a wide range of complex tasks.
