IDeaS is seeking a skilled and proactive Regional Solutions Engineer who is fluent in French, to join our global solution engineering team. As a Regional Sales Engineer, you will work in collaboration with IDeaS Sales teams and IDeaS Account Management teams to provide pre-sales support in relation to the successful selling and installation of IDeaS solutions. Utilize knowledge of industry or industry segment process and challenges, provide pre-sales discovery and consulting services including customer discovery and solution design. Prepare and perform product demonstrations for current and prospective customers. To be considered for this Regional Solutions Engineer role, you must be fluent in French to have business-level conversations.
What you'll be doing
- Provide pre-sales technical support to customers.
- Work with sales staff to outline appropriate solutions and leverage sales opportunities.
- Develop proposals and conduct demonstrations and presentations to customers and prospects.
- Deliver targeted project results through expertise in IDeaS methodologies, projects, and technologies.
- Show IDeaS solutions and any required supporting products for knowledge sharing and demonstration purposes.
- Utilize and communicate best practice methodologies and industry standards internally and externally.
- Co-operate with account management in developing account strategies and assessing account needs to ensure satisfaction.
- Provide support at marketing events, trade shows, and user group meetings.
- Participate in technical presentations, compile training documents, and write technical reports.
- Leverage detailed technical knowledge to support sales opportunities and implementations across solution domains.
- Apply advanced knowledge of IDeaS products and solutions in sales opportunities.
- Utilize IDeaS strategic selling techniques and in-depth domain/industry knowledge to strategize on prospects and develop sales objectives.
- Lead complex sales involving multiple skill sets.
- Serve as a lead technical resource, counseling staff on technical issues and prototype development.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of product positioning, pricing, proposals, and models.
- Host user-group meetings, corporate training, or seminars.
- May serve as subject matter expert on projects.
- Share knowledge with internal staff.
What you'll bring to us
- 4+ years of progressive experience in technical sales, pre-sales, sales engineering, or solutions engineering, ideally from the hospitality technology or revenue analytics industries, or 5+ years of hands-on revenue management, Yield Management, or Pricing Analytics experience in hotels or hospitality technology.
- Technical aptitude or desire to understand technical areas such as data management, system integration, and business/data intelligence.
- A minimum of business-level fluency in French.
- Public speaking experience.
- Industry experience in Revenue Management, Yield Management, or Revenue Analytics.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Good industry knowledge of Hotel or Hospitality Technologies.
- Strong problem-solving, organization, and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated project leadership and resource management skills.
- Ability to communicate complex technical solutions to a non-technical audience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team; ability to travel frequently.
