Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Registered Nurse to join a well-established and dedicated team of healthcare professionals in a specialist neurological care centre.

Role Overview:
As a Registered Nurse, the successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualised care for patients. This role will require close collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care is delivered. The nurse will maintain clinical records, carry out care in line with established guidelines, and manage patient care during their shift when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care using evidence-based guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with the inter-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
  • Maintain records in line with corporate policies and NMC guidelines.
  • Ensure clinical care is carried out according to the organisation's policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the care team to ensure adherence to care plans.
  • Where applicable, take responsibility for managing patient care during the shift.

About the Centre:
The centre provides specialist care for individuals aged 18 and over with a range of neurological conditions. The services offered focus on maximising independence, supporting emotional and social needs, and optimising health and wellbeing. The charity provides expert neurorehabilitation to individuals with neurological conditions and brain injuries to improve their quality of life.

About the Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be a registered nurse with post-registration clinical experience and a solid knowledge of best clinical practices for the relevant client group. They will have an awareness of current legislation within the independent care sector and demonstrate a commitment to professional development. Additional key skills include clinical leadership and experience in nurse-led management of long-term conditions.
