Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for a proactive and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our welcoming small animal practice on the outskirts of Norwich. Your role will involve a variety of nursing duties, including theatre work, in-patient care, and nurse clinics. You will be reliable and friendly with excellent communication skills, the ability to prioritise effectively, and a flexible attitude. CPD is funded and encouraged, ideal for a nurse who is engaged with ongoing learning.


Our practice is purpose-built, light, and airy. Well-equipped with digital and dental X-rays, ultrasound machine, multiparameter monitor, cattery with easy view from prep for better post-op monitoring, and a dedicated nurse's consulting room.


You will be joining a friendly, supportive team of 5 vets, 5 RVNs, 1 Student Nurse, a dedicated dispenser, and 6 support staff. Our emphasis is on providing the best care possible, for patients, clients, and each other. We value continuity and the opportunity to create good client relationships; and recognise that staff well-being is central to all that we do. We cultivate a collaborative, no-blame environment where team members openly discuss clinical cases and look to improve what we offer and how.


What hours will you be working

You will work Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:30am - 5:30pm, Friday from 8:30am - 7:30pm, plus 1 in 6 Saturday mornings. There is no OOH, this is a FTC for up to 12 months. Salary up to £32,000 DOE FTE.
