Job Description

We are looking for a Reliability Engineer to support the startup of a new production site in the United States for one of our key clients in the process industry. This is a long-term 12-month contract with the possibility of extension.

The Role:

As a Reliability Engineer, you will play a critical role in establishing and implementing the reliability strategy for a new plant. You will be responsible for:

  • Conducting criticality studies to identify key assets and defining actions to improve reliability and lifespan.
  • Developing maintenance strategies and implementing preventive maintenance plans in SAP.
  • Establishing a spare parts policy and ensuring optimal stock management.
  • Supporting the Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) framework by designing preventive maintenance and inspection plans for mechanical and E&I systems.
  • Ensuring compliance by translating legal requirements into actionable plans.
  • Driving continuous improvement by integrating best practices from existing production sites.
  • Standardizing preventive maintenance procedures to be implemented across multiple locations.


Your Profile:

  • A technical degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven reliability experience within the process industry.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English.
  • Based in Belgium with occasional travel to the US site required.
