What will I be doing?
You will be part of a reliability maintenance engineering team that will provide support to our onsite production environment.

You will be required to perform scheduled preventive maintenance and attend to machine breakdowns and apply fault-finding techniques.

You will be required to attend to machine faults and breakdowns out of your core hours, shared on a team rotation.

You will work proactively and offer new initiatives to help resolve repeat machine failures.

You will report findings in a structured and professional manner to our customer.

Desirable experience of:

  1. CNC machines
  2. Automation
  3. Control systems
  4. Heat treatment
  5. Pneumatics, Hydraulics
  6. Pressure vessels
  7. Compressors
  8. Vacuum pumps
  9. Electrical schematics
  10. PLC I/O fault diagnostics

Ensuring that you remain compliant with site health and safety direction, you will be required to perform scheduled preventive maintenance on key equipment across our 3 areas of autonomous production.

The role will require you to be professional in carrying out your duties as a reliability engineer and work as part of a team to meet customer requests in a timely manner.

What you need from me?

  1. Time served apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience in Electrical Maintenance.
  2. Good problem-solving skills.
  3. Skilled in Electrical maintenance with mechanical knowledge.
  4. Capable of interpreting electrical schematic drawings.
  5. Knowledge and application of Maintenance management systems (SAP).
  6. A team player with good interpersonal skills.
  7. Knowledge of PLC systems and ability to fault find logically.
  8. Knowledge of Reliability Centred Maintenance application.
  9. Knowledge of CBM (Condition Based Monitoring) techniques.
