Real Estate - Residential Development Solicitor - 3+ PQE - National Firm - Birmingham

BCL Legal is delighted to be assisting a top UK firm in its recruitment of a residential development lawyer. This firm has offices internationally and a reputation for working on the highest quality residential development matters. The firm is seeking a junior to mid-level (3-6 PQE) solicitor to join its highly regarded Birmingham team acting on high profile development work for the top UK house builders.

The Role will involve:

1. Predominantly supporting partners in the team on high value and large scale land acquisitions for residential development purposes and also some site set up work but also managing your own caseload under supervision.
2. Specific work would include investigating title, due diligence on development sites, interpreting search results, conditional contracts, strategic option agreements, promotion agreements, partnering agreements with local authorities, consortium agreements and regeneration matters.
3. Complex and high calibre work for national house builders across the UK.

Candidate Requirements:

1. 3-6 PQE with good residential development exposure during that time.
2. Solid technical skills ideally developed at a highly regarded regional, national or international firm.
3. A strong academic profile, ideally 2.1 at degree level.
