Join the Close Brothers Resilience Team where you will support the Bank in preparing to respond expediently to business disruptions while supporting our ability to maintain continuous operations whilst safeguarding our people, assets and customers. Working as part of the Resilience Team our ideal team member will have previous experience in supporting the training, testing and exercising across different Resilience components in line with Resilience Policy and standards with excellent experience with testing and exercising Resilience activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and own the Resilience Testing Calendar which will give a holistic view of testing across the Bank and production of the associated MI
  • Support the Operational Resilience (OR) Manager in the development, implementation and testing of the annual OR Stress Tests for UK & RoI as defined by relevant standards
  • Maintain and review all training packs in line with current regulations and CB approach to resilience
  • Engagement with stakeholders for the purpose of collecting data for MI reports
  • Support the OR Manager with BAU operational resilience activity
  • Support the delivery of CM including operational support where appropriate, to an on-call provision 24/7 rota (c.1/7 on-call)
  • Maintaining an awareness of current threats and challenges to develop severe but plausible testing
  • Performs routine threat intelligence gathering tasks to ensure the testing programme is run based on plausible events

WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE/CAN:

  • Demonstrate knowledge of at least one of the following:
    • Operational Resilience (UK & RoI) SS1/21 and CBI Operational Resilience Guidance
    • Business Continuity / Crisis Management
    • Third Party Management
  • Experience with
    • Testing and exercising Resilience activities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to target messages appropriately to Business Management, IT management, IT staff and risk team members
  • The ability to work independently within a defined remit, managing schedule and multiple objectives

IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE/ARE:

  • Conversant with the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA)
  • Knowledge of Technology Recovery mechanisms
  • Presentation and facilitation skills
  • A member of relevant industry forums to stay abreast of current best practice
