Hays is recruiting for a Responsible Individual for a Children's Residential Home based in Ealing, West London.Working Pattern: 10 hours per week (Hybrid Working) Salary: £35 - £45 per hour
Your new role
As a Responsible Individual, you will be playing a crucial role in overseeing the home and its progress, helping weekly with minor administrative tasks, as well as providing assistance and guidance to the senior leadership team, especially during upcoming inspections and audits. The home is for children with EBD, mental health challenges and non-complex emotional needs, aged between 12-16 years old.
Duties will include:

Working closely with the leadership team to drive successful registration with Ofsted including assisting the registered manager with recruitment, procedures and feedback.

Oversee the progress of the home ensuring strict compliance with procedures set.

Provide leadership and supervision to the senior leadership team when required.

Assisting the registered manager with the development of care-plans for residents.

Ensure compliance with Ofsted and Local Authority requirements at all times.

What you'll need to succeed
Significant experience of working within a similar setting and managing Ofsted inspections, including past managerial experience.Have already obtained the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.Passion and commitment to making a positive difference to the lives of young people and ensuring the continuous prosperity of the home.Resilient and strong communicator both written and verbally. Proactive approach with ideas for continual improvements in all areas.
