Please note, this role can be based out of our Holborn, Coventry or Manchester Store Support Centre & Home - colleagues go into the office 2 days per week on average.

In this role, you will innovate and drive the business forward by leveraging technology to enhance productivity, uncover new insights, implement automation and improve control. You'll utilise your technology skills to create value while providing Retail and Commercial Finance stakeholders with the analysis and insights needed to enhance retail/store performance. Additionally, you'll champion the development of quality assets that comply with internal control frameworks, lead efforts to enhance digital literacy and promote data democratisation, and deputise for the Head of Finance when needed.

- Innovate and drive the business forward by using technology to create productivity benefits, uncover new insights, and implement automation
- Support Retail and Commercial Finance stakeholders by delivering ad hoc analysis and insights to enhance retail performance, while utilising your technology skills to create value for the business
- Champion and oversee the development of quality assets, ensuring they comply with internal control frameworks
- Ensure the team's work quality aligns with the risk appetite and digital control frameworks, minimising the risk of interruptions to reporting and process automation
- Lead the broader team in enhancing digital literacy and promoting the democratisation of data
- Deputise for the Head of Finance when required
More about you
- Finance knowledge through qualification or by experience
- Demonstrative experience in providing data analysis; turning data into insight to help drive commercial performance
- Experience in Alteryx or other ETL tools
- Experience in SQL / Snowflake and BI tools
- Strong commercial acumen with a focus on driving excellent commercial performance
- High levels of pace, energy, and resilience
- Enthusiastic, positive, and proactive engagement of key stakeholders to build strong relationships
- Experience across multi-channels and products
- Proven history of effective prioritisation and ability to push back when appropriate
- Committed to driving change and comfortable with managing any associated conflicts
