Location: London, Hybrid (minimum 2 days a week in the office).

The Retail Operations Manager Mission:

To ignite the heart of our growing retail operations, creating seamless, scalable processes that deliver unforgettable customer experiences and set the stage for success at every step.

How you'll drive success:

  • Operational Excellence & Growth: Contribute to our continued success as we expand, by holding high standards of store operations to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Strategy & Foundations: Plan, develop, and implement scalable operating procedures for all store functions by championing innovation to enhance the customer journey, reduce inefficiency, and lower costs.
  • Team Development & Training: Inspire, support and develop our Retail Ops team with a reverse-leadership approach leading with empowerment and autonomy.
  • Compliance: Maintain and enforce health and safety standards across all stores, providing a secure environment for both our employees and customers.
  • Licensing: Manage applications and renewals for all necessary licenses and liaise with local councils to resolve any operational obstacles.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and analyse regular reports on inventory levels, and key performance indicators as well as providing data-driven recommendations to the Retail Leadership Team.
  • Travel & On-Site Support: Conduct regular store visits to evaluate operations, offer support, and identify improvement opportunities.

What you'll need to thrive:

  • Experience working as a Retail Operations Manager or similar role within the retail industry.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster effective collaboration with diverse teams.
  • Ability to work in a team with humility and empathy with strong leadership and training skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic and exciting retail environment!
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in a retail environment and familiarity with industry compliance requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strong creative vision aligned with our brand and overall strategy.

The Interview Process and Candidate Experience:

  1. Life Story & Values: A 30 min video call with our Talent Team for us to get to know each other better, asking questions inspired by our three core values.
  2. Experience Interview: A slightly longer video call for you to meet your manager and discuss your skill-set and experience for the role.
  3. Final Interview: 1 hour in person task interview to complete and present.
