Your Role: Reporting into the Head of Programmatic & Operations, this role will drive forward programmatic revenue across our digital audio products. The role will work across all News Broadcasting brands including talkSPORT, Virgin Radio, Times Radio and Talk.

Day to day you will:

  • Ensure the correct set up and smooth running of all programmatic audio campaigns.
  • Proactively work with the wider sales team to identify areas of opportunity.
  • Closely monitor campaign delivery to ensure smooth revenue flow.
  • Troubleshoot any campaign issues that arise and arrive at a timely resolution.
  • Work alongside the Head of Programmatic & Operations to develop and implement programmatic agency strategies.
  • Liaise with the Head of Commercial Product to understand new products that can be taken to market.
  • Create commercial conditions conducive to trading with agencies, trading groups, and clients direct.
  • Liaise with the Insights and Data teams to help construct robust, bespoke brief responses.
  • Be the programmatic champion within the wider Operations team.
  • Keep abreast of market trends affecting the industry at a macro level.
  • Liaise with agency teams to ensure Octave is front of mind for their briefs and budgets.

What we're looking for from you:

  • Proven experience in a digital operations and/or programmatic role.
  • Technical understanding of the programmatic advertising ecosystem, systems and digital inventory management.
  • Experience working in an Adserver and SSP.
  • Commercial drive, with the ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally with key strategic partners/clients.
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and programmatic performance.
  • Experience in monetisation partners and inventory management.
  • Effective verbal and written communicator.
  • Strong organisational, time management skills to ensure briefs are responded to sufficiently.
  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit and are driven and passionate.
  • Wider knowledge of other media channels and their value within the digital sphere.
