Risk & Controls Specialist
Location: Hybrid - Nottingham
Rate: £550-£600 per day (Inside IR35)
Contract: Until end of November 2025

We're partnering with a global financial markets organisation to find a specialist in Risk and Controls, to strengthen their data governance and control frameworks.

1. Lead the control improvements to drive regulatory compliance for all operational resiliency regulations.
2. Identify risks within data processes and develop robust control frameworks. Ensure policy assurance activities, risk quality checking and executing control assessments.
3. Work closely with stakeholders to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance.
4. Support audits and regulatory requirements by providing data governance insights.
5. Drive process improvements and best practices in data management.

1. Strong expertise in data governance, risk management, and analytics controls.
2. Experience working in regulated environments with a strong understanding of compliance frameworks.
3. Ability to assess, design, and implement data control measures.
4. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
5. Experience in an Audit function or Big 4 Consulting firm is desirable.
6. Knowledge of DORA regulations is desirable.
