Job Description
New Contract Opportunity - Risk Management Product Lead
We are seeking an experienced professional in Risk Management Planning (RMPL) to develop effective strategies and help improve patient safety at a global biopharmaceutical company.
Location: Hybrid Role in Surrey (2.5 days on-site)
Pay Rate: Up to £58 per hour
Duration: 12-Month Contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic expertise to product teams, driving the execution of Risk Management (RM) activities within RMPs across business units.
- Collaborate in the development of cutting-edge Risk Management Centers of Excellence (RM CoE).
- Lead the implementation of risk mitigation strategies and review RMP assessments to ensure effective modifications.
- Partner with leadership to develop innovative methodologies in risk management planning, including risk communication, risk minimisation, and benefit/risk assessment.
- Act as the main point of contact for risk management teams, guiding and maintaining risk management knowledge across the organisation.
- Provide guidance on pre-marketed and post-marketed drug products and recommend appropriate risk mitigation options based on the drug's benefit-risk profile.
Key Requirements for the role:
- Senior Manager (5+ years) or Director (10+ years) of broad and progressive pharma experience, specialising in drug safety risk management.
- Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, or equivalent) is preferred.
- Proven strategic thinking and leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
- In-depth knowledge of global safety regulations and experience in global drug safety risk management planning.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex issues clearly.
- Experience with project management, performance metrics, and matrix-based decision-making.
Desirable:
- Project Management Certification (PMP).
- Six Sigma Certification.
- Strong collaborative skills and experience working with global teams.
