Spotify's Technology Procurement team, part of the Platform Mission, is looking for a SaaS Technology Category Manager with a commercial focus to accelerate our innovation and impact at scale. We are a uniquely positioned procurement team within R&D, passionate about our most important technology and SaaS relationships. In this role, you'll use agile practices and partner closely with business and technology, as well as legal, security, and finance. You will also contribute to sustainability initiatives and empower Spotifiers to move faster and be more productive.

What You'll Do:

  • Drive and develop some of the most important relationships and deals in SaaS.
  • This role will lead, qualify, and develop two portfolios - Security & Risk Management, and Engineering SaaS.
  • Improve long-term value for Spotify from key supplier relationships.
  • Partner with teams to run proof of concepts, product and supplier evaluations, and contract negotiations.
  • Stay on top of the technology market, supplier core proficiencies and competitive positioning to act as a strategic partner and advisor.

Who You Are:

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Technology, or a similar discipline) or equivalent experience.
  • Considerable experience driving negotiations with major SaaS suppliers.
  • Experience driving agile, sophisticated, multi-functional projects.
  • Influence decision-making at all levels within an organization using a variety of contexts and data.
  • An excellent communicator and storyteller, presenting concepts and ideas in different formats, depending on the context.
  • Experience in running global Enterprise Software programs across multiple suppliers.
  • Anticipate the needs of your internal customers, deliver quality insights, and quickly remove any blockers to shared progress.
  • You thrive in controlled chaos and demonstrate autonomy in identifying innovative solutions.
  • A strong writer, able to convey strategic and complex situations through text in a simple and understandable manner.
  • Thrive in remote work situations. You will be able to easily collaborate with your team distributed throughout multiple time zones.

Where You'll Be:

  • This role is based in London or Stockholm.
