We are looking for the following:

£10.6-11.3k session per annum according to experience, with annual leave, study leave, medical indemnity, pension in addition.

Opportunities for involvement with QIPPs, clinical leadership, teaching medical students.

Main duties of the job

Karis Medical Centre is an innovative inner-city training and teaching practice which serves a socially and ethnically diverse population in central Birmingham.

• 5 partners, 8 salaried GPs and 3 GP retention scheme GPs.
• 18,500 patients weighted list size.
• Modern purpose-built premises with historical link.
• Good links with PCN, ICB and local federation.
• Teaching practice affiliated to University of Birmingham.
• Culture of teamwork, compassionate care, innovation and development.
• Expanding supportive multidisciplinary team of paramedic, clinical pharmacist, consultant physiotherapist.
• Well established wellbeing team: Chaplaincy, in-house counsellors, attached substance misuse case manager, wellbeing coach, social prescriber, Neighbourhood Mental Health Team and Community Art project.
• ICB IT clinical lead GP provides forward thinking problem solving approach.
• In-house mentoring for Salaried GPs.
• Monthly whole team lunch.
• Participating practice in National Trailblazer Fellowship scheme.
