Job Description

Salaried GP - 4 Sessions (Certificate of Sponsorship Applicants Accepted)

The surgery prides itself on working collaboratively with all our staff and using SMARTER working concepts, which in turn has helped us define and manage workloads. As such, we are willing to wait for like-minded candidates who can adapt to this ethos.

We are a hands-on training practice looking for a GP to join and be an active member of the team. Our team consists of 2 GP Trainers with GP Trainees, Salaried GP, and Sessional GPs supported by our Practice Nurse and 2 x HCAs.

This training practice uses SystmOne.

Main duties of the job

Key Information:

  1. 4 sessions per week - At present, we require Monday and Tuesday On-Call.
  2. Well-defined workloads for on-call and non-on-call.
  3. Sessional Rate in line with DDRB.
  4. 6 weeks annual leave.
  5. Initially 1-year Fixed Term contract with a view to extend.

Newsome Surgery in Huddersfield (HD4 6JE) is a forward-thinking training practice with circa 6,000 patients. We are seeking an enthusiastic salaried GP to join our team.
