Sales Analyst - Seller Recruitment and Account Management, ISG

We are looking for a smart and dynamic Sales/Business Analyst with strong analytical abilities and strong technical skills to meet business requirements and improve customer experience. S/he will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, can easily collaborate with multiple stakeholders (internal and external), and have strong business acumen. The ideal candidate is someone who demonstrates operational excellence, and has a strong passion for empowering multiple internal business teams. You have the ability to communicate priorities and work effectively with multiple stakeholders and senior leadership.

To be successful in this role, you should be comfortable dealing with large and complex data sets, have expertise in SQL querying, Excel, have experience building self-service dashboards and using visualization tools, while always applying analytical rigor to solve business problems. Should have excellent judgment, be passionate about high standards (is never satisfied with the status quo), and deliver innovative solutions.

Key Job Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with Leaders, multiple Account Managers, Team Managers, etc. to understand business requirements and to prioritize and deliver data and reporting independently.
  2. Design, develop and maintain scalable, automated, user-friendly systems, reports, dashboards, etc. that will support our analytical and business needs.
  3. Analyze key metrics to uncover trends and root causes of issues and build simplified solutions for account managers to consume.
  4. Capture the right metrics to influence stakeholders and measure success.
  5. Exposure to regression, distribution theory, and machine learning basics will be a plus.
About the Team

The International Seller Growth (ISG) - Seller Recruitment & Growth function in Hyderabad, India owns recruiting New to Amazon Sellers at scale, providing Account Management to high potential Sellers, and helping Sellers be successful on Amazon.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  1. At least 2+ years of experience in Sales/Business Analyst role handling business reporting.
  2. Bachelors or above degree with Data Analysis or similar related fields.
  3. Strong analytical and quantitative skills with professional experience with Excel/SQL; ability to handle data and metrics to back up assumptions, develop tools, and evaluate outcomes.
  4. Professional written and verbal communication skills in English in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
  5. Skilled in collaborative environment, succeeding through regular meetings and clear formal and informal communication with members of the remote and local management teams.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Proficiency in statistical analysis tools.
  2. Ability to dive deep into data, existing processes, people, and systems in order to invent, simplify, and improve inefficient or unnecessarily complex processes.
  3. Thrives in a high-energy, fast-paced environment where tactical and strategic initiatives are driven in parallel.
  4. Advanced capabilities with productivity software such as Excel and Access.
  5. Expertise in visualization tools such as Tableau OR Qlikview OR Quicksight.
  6. Exposure to regression, distribution theory, and machine learning basics will be a plus.
