DevOn Software is expanding globally and we are looking for an experienced Sales Director to play a key role in this growth. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader who will need to generate new business for DevOn through headhunting and networking efforts and through managing a team of Business Development Executives. We are looking for an entrepreneur who has a strong network in the UK and is ready to show them how DevOn can transform their organization.
Responsibilities:- Lead the Business Development team in the UK to generate and close business opportunities across Europe.
- Headhunt new business for DevOn through software development services as well as AI/DevOps/Agile consultancy.
- Create solutions to fulfill the needs of customers including support for the overall scope of development, pricing, and negotiation.
- Work closely with our current clients to ensure satisfaction and business continuity.
- Collaborate with our recruitment team and other internal stakeholders to identify and fill skill gaps for Sales and Delivery Teams within the region.
- Establish the internal tone of your team while developing, coaching, and mentoring your team members.
- Act as an entrepreneur for DevOn, always searching for opportunities for innovation and finding new ways to tackle old challenges.
- Oversee the financial health of your region by managing profits and margins, working closely with our CFO.
- Establish an image for our brand through marketing strategies, participation in conferences, meetups, seminars, discussion forums, and knowledge sharing spaces.
Minimum of Bachelor's degree in education.
Experience:10+ years of business development experience, selling software services in the IT industry.
Specific Skills:- Experience in successfully building and implementing commercial strategies.
- Proven track record of Sales Excellence in IT or Software services to enterprise-level organizations.
- Experience in leading a team of business development executives to hit their financial targets.
- Basic knowledge of the software market as well as modern IT software stacks.
- Experience in offshoring software services to regions such as India is a plus.
- Entrepreneurial mindset ready to drive business growth and development.
- Excellent networking, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to discover and close opportunities.
- Ready to travel and visit clients on location.
