Job Title - Sales Executive - Car Rentals

Job Location - Preston

Salary - £18,533 basic with a £19,500 OTE

As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for selling car rentals to holiday makers, local businesses, and the general public. If a customer has a car already booked, your role will be to upgrade the existing reservation.

In this role, you will need to have a driving licence as you may be required to deliver and collect vehicles when necessary.

For example, you will upgrade the car to a luxury model, offer larger vehicles, provide better insurance options, and upsell additional features such as child seats and satellite navigation.

Our client is looking for passionate, motivated, sales-driven individuals who can help grow the business and drive sales for the brand.

The working hours will generally be 40 hours per week between 08:00 - 18:00 Monday to Friday, with alternate Saturdays from 08:00 - 13:00. Where additional hours are worked, time will be compensated.

Responsibilities:

  • Offer and persuade clients regarding the integration of additional products into the rental contract.
  • Achieve sales targets.
  • Manage the documentation related to vehicle bookings, directly or through brokers, to finalize contracts and allocate vehicles following established procedures.
  • Provide clients with accurate information to finalize vehicle rental contracts.
  • Record client data and relevant information on the company's computer system related to the rental contract.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and be available as a close representative.
  • Complete various operational reports as requested.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to vehicle rentals, billing of debtors, handling breakdowns and accidents, and other issues.
  • Occasionally inspect vehicles by following the appropriate procedures in case of damage detection and managing items left behind.
