Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Leader to join our Brighton branch. This role is pivotal in driving business growth, managing the technical account management team and acting as a branch leader within the FluidOne group. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, strong leadership skills and a technical background to effectively liaise with the technical services team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Team Management: Lead and manage the technical account management team, ensuring high performance and professional development.
  2. Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities, build and maintain strong relationships with clients and drive sales growth.
  3. Branch Leadership: Act as the branch leader, representing FluidOne (Brighton Branch) within the FluidOne group and ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.
  4. Technical Liaison: Work closely with the technical services team to understand and address client needs, ensuring seamless service delivery.
  5. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand the customer base.
  6. Client Engagement: Engage with clients to understand their requirements, provide tailored solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.
  7. Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
  8. Market Analysis: Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
Qualifications:
  1. Proven experience in a sales leadership role within the IT services industry.
  2. Strong business development skills with a track record of achieving sales targets.
  3. Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  4. Technical background with the ability to liaise effectively with technical teams.
  5. Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  7. Degree in Business, IT, or a related field (preferred).
  8. Knowledge of Salesforce for business development and lead management is preferable.
Additional Information:

The role is mainly office-based in Brighton but requires travel across the UK to visit customers and other FluidOne branches. A company car will be provided for this purpose. Regular Tasks:

  3. Acting as the branch leader, representing FluidOne (Brighton Branch) within the FluidOne group and ensuring the branch aligns with the company's primary goals.
  4. Collaborating with the technical services team to understand client needs and ensure the delivery of tailored IT solutions.
  5. Developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand the customer base.
  6. Engaging with existing clients to understand their requirements, provide tailored solutions and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  7. Monitoring and analysing sales performance metrics, preparing regular reports and providing insights to senior management.
  8. Staying updated with industry trends, market conditions and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
  9. Traveling across the UK to visit customers and other FluidOne branches, ensuring strong relationships and effective communication.
  10. Utilising Salesforce for business development and lead management, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities.
  11. Participating in regular meetings with the technical account management team, senior management and other branches to discuss progress, challenges and opportunities.
  12. Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures and maintaining a high standard of professionalism and integrity.
