Role
  • Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers, ensuring high performance, availability, and capacity planning
  • Diagnose and resolve Hardware, software, and networking issues, supporting application deployments and upgrades
  • Implement security best practices, conduct regular audits, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts (Bash, Python) to optimize routine tasks and improve efficiency
  • Create and maintain system documentation, generate reports on performance, uptime, and security incidents
  • Collaborate with IT teams, mentor junior members, and support business objectives through effective teamwork

Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Linux System Administrator/Engineer with expertise in Linux distributions (Red Hat preferred)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and Virtualization technologies (VMware, Proxmox)
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Podman) and orchestration tools (Docker Swarm, Kubernetes)
  • Proficiency in Shell scripting and at least one other programming language (e.g., Python, Perl), and knowledge of configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible)
  • Relevant certifications such as RHCE, LPIC, or CompTIA Linux+ are a plus
