Job Description

We are seeking a skilled SAP EC Payroll Technical Consultant for our client. This is a remote contract role.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in SAP Employee Central Payroll (ECP), including configuration, integration, and troubleshooting. You will work closely with functional teams and clients to troubleshoot and optimize SAP ECP solutions to meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement, configure and troubleshoot SAP Employee Central Payroll (ECP) to align with business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between SAP EC Payroll and third-party systems using APIs, Middleware (such as SAP CPI), or custom solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to payroll processing, data replication, and reporting.
  • Work closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Perform unit testing, system testing, and support UAT for payroll processes and enhancements.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP EC Payroll, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory payroll requirements.
  • Optimize payroll performance by analysing logs, batch jobs, and processing times to enhance efficiency.
  • Document technical specifications, configurations, and troubleshooting guidelines for knowledge sharing and future reference.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in SAP EC Payroll technical support.
  • Strong understanding of SAP Payroll schemas, PCRs, and wage type configuration.
  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and its integration with EC Payroll.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in SAP Payroll processing, payroll control records, and posting to finance.
  • Familiarity with compliance and localization requirements for payroll processing in different countries.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
