SAP FI Consultant - Greek Speaking. Athens, Greece (with up to 99% remote work possible). Flexible Start Date from February 2025 Onwards. Permanent Job. Salary up to 70,000 gross fixed basic per annum + Benefits.

Our client based in Athens, Greece, is expanding their SAP team and looking to hire an SAP FI (Finance) Consultant to join them. They are looking for motivated, experienced SAP professionals who are open to embracing new challenges. You will play an active role in delivering SAP FI services and solutions to their clients in both the public and private sectors.

Main Responsibilities:

• SAP FI Solution design for projects and customer requests
• Support the team across all stages of project implementation (including business analysis, process design, task delegation to team members, etc.)
• Manage specific clients and/or projects within the SAP FI domain
• Oversee delivery outcomes, ensuring adherence to delivery standards and deadlines
• Apply service delivery methodologies and best practices
• Organize and lead customer workshops, in order to provide expertise and to understand business objectives
• Analyze business requirements and propose solutions to meet them
• Prepare and deliver presentations as subject matter experts
• Report on project progress and status for customer assignments
• Keep updated on SAP offerings and product portfolio
• Enhance technical expertise and embrace new technologies, such as cloud solutions and modern application development frameworks

Required Skills and Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in SAP FI Functional Consulting
• Hands on, technical expertise in all the core SAP FI sub-modules eg AA, AP, AR, GL, New-GL, BL, Travel etc.
• Should have experience in both S/4HANA and ECC 6
• Highly proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint and Excel) and other team collaboration tools (eg Teams, Trello etc.)
• Willingness to travel for client meetings and projects as required
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, customer-centric mindset
• Team player with ability to work effectively in multi-task environment under tight deadlines
• Fan of well structured and disciplined way of work
• Fan of challenges

Nice to have but not mandatory:

• Multiple Industry exposure (eg Retail, Banking, Insurance, FMCG, Manufacturing etc.)
• Professional certifications (Project Management methodologies, ITIL, SAP certifications etc.)
• Any knowledge of SAP CO is a plus

Required Languages:

• Must be fluent in Greek (minimum C1 level)
• Must also be fluent in English (minimum C1 level)

Remote Work:

• The company is very flexible on remote work. The amount of remote work is subject to assessing you on an individual basis during your probationary period to see what works best
• As a guideline, the more senior you are, the more knowledge and skills you possess and the less training you require the more remote work will be permitted
• When first joining the company, you will be expected to work in the office on a regular basis during your probationary period, then depending on how you are settling in, remote work can be increased up to 99% remote
• You must be willing to travel to client sites mostly within the Athens area when required (eg Go-live, user training etc.)

Salary:

• The Fixed Basic Salary on offer is subject to your level of skills, knowledge, experience and ranges up to 70,000 gross per annum
