SAP GRC/Security and Authorisations Manager- Permanent Opportunity - Hybrid (Spain or Portugal)

Nicholas Bernard is seeking an experienced Senior SAP GRC/Security and Authorisations Manager to lead and enhance SAP security initiatives across our client engagements in Iberia. The successful candidate will drive robust risk management, compliance, data protection, and cyber security measures within SAP environments, with a specific focus on S/4HANA.

Key Responsibilities:

• SAP GRC Management:
• Design, implement, and manage SAP GRC frameworks to ensure comprehensive risk management and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee the configuration and continuous improvement of SAP Security and Authorisations processes.
• Data Protection & Cyber Security:
• Advise on best practices for data protection and cyber security within SAP environments.
• Develop and enforce security controls and policies in line with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• S/4HANA Expertise:
• Lead strategic initiatives around SAP S/4HANA security, including system hardening and secure configuration.
• Collaborate with technical teams to integrate security measures into S/4HANA implementations.
• Consulting and Client Engagement:
• Serve as a subject matter expert in SAP GRC and security, providing high-level consultancy and advisory services to clients.
• Work closely with client stakeholders to assess risks, develop security strategies, and deliver effective solutions.
• Mentor and guide junior team members on security best practices and project delivery.
• Travel:
• Occasional travel to client sites within Iberia or Europe to support project implementations and client engagements.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience:
• Extensive hands-on experience (typically 8+ years) in SAP GRC, Security, and Authorisations management.
• Proven track record in implementing and managing SAP S/4HANA security measures.
• Strong background in data protection and cyber security within SAP environments.
• Leading experience working on multiple S/4 Hana programs
• Consulting Background:
• Prior experience working within a Big 4 consultancy or equivalent professional services environment is highly desirable.
• Technical Skills:
• Deep understanding of SAP security frameworks and risk management methodologies.
• Proficiency in relevant tools and technologies associated with SAP GRC and S/4HANA security.
• Language Skills:
• Fluency in Portuguese or Spanish is mandatory, with excellent English communication skills.
