SAP Integration Architect/Developer

What's the role?

As our SAP Integration Architect/Developer, you'll be a pivotal member of our dynamic IT team, acting as the technical subject matter expert for all things SAP infrastructure. From managing external hosting partners to leading service improvements and supporting transformational projects, you'll be right at the heart of Tarmac's digital evolution.

You'll work across a broad technical landscape - translating business needs into innovative SAP platform solutions, ensuring system availability, security, and performance. You'll bring a proactive, strategic mindset, using your deep technical knowledge and sharp analytical skills to deliver real impact.

Please note this position is for a 12-month fixed-term basis

Your day-to-day will include:

• Acting as an SAP IntegrationSuite Developer subject matter expert
• Complying with Internal Control processes and procedures
• Coordinating with other teams if issues require multiple team involvement
• Showing an interest in current and future technology opportunities to improve operational efficiency
• Ensuring new integrations, connecting systems and certificates are correctly set up
• Complying with all policies and minimizing the risk of defects and production outages
• Creating high quality technical specifications to ensure right-first-time developments are delivered
• Improving development processes and standards
• Expert knowledge of SAP IntegrationSuite
• Experience with XSLT, Groovy script, or Graphical Mapping
• Experience in creating ABAP Proxies and RFC debugging

Nice to have:

• Solid knowledge of integrations and hands-on experience
• Experience of managing large-scale changes across a complex & dynamic SAP System Landscape
• Experience in interfacing SAP with 3rd party systems
